Clinch-Powell Community Kitchen: The Clinch-Powell Community Kitchens is an inspected (FDA Standards) food product processing kitchen capable of producing 2000 jars per day of vegetable or fruit products for legal commercial sale. Clinch River Community Project : An effort to protect the Clinch, the most bio-diverse free-flowing river in the U.S., from point and non-point pollution.
 
Envirothon and Conservation Camp : Conservation Camp is an event held for the 6th graders in the 5 counties to teach them about the environment and ways to protect it. Envirothon is a competition among high school students (9th-12th) throughout our 5 counties to test environmental knowledge. The winners of this event goes on to a state-wide competition.
 
First Wheels: A program design to help Family First participants break the welfare cycle by providing no-interest low-payment car loans.
 
Leadership Programs: Local effort to train community leaders in the counties served by RC&D.
 
Partners for Clean Communities: Part of Keep America Beautiful a nationwide effort to reducing litter.
 
Tele-Democracy Network: One of the forces behind the creation of this website, this program is designed to increase public participation in local and regional affairs through information technologies such as videoconferencing.
