Building Affordable Single Family Homes
Affordable Loan ProductsThe biggest part of buying a home is the financing, and Clinch-Powell RC&D can help. We work with USDA Rural housing Services to help low and moderate income families apply for low-interest loans. We work with local banks to help moderate income families apply for THDA low-interest loan products. Interest rates on these loans range from 5.5% to as low a 0%. Please contact us regarding the best financing options for you. Rehabilitated FHA homesSome homebuyer will not qualify for enough to buy a home on the market. Clinch-Powell RC&D can help by offering HUD Foreclosed home to individuals at a reduced price. These are homes that have been completely rehabiliated and are avialble to families who make up to 115% area median income. Renovation of current homes- The Housing Preservation Program. Many of the homes in our area are dilapitated and require serious work to repair problems that may be seen as a health hazard. The Clinch-Powell Home Team can help with low-interest renovation loans through a Housing and Preservation Grant from USDA Rural Housing Services and a Rural Housing and Economic Development Grant from HUD. The RC&D will be offering a mix of forgivable and low-interest loans to eligible homeowners in Enterprise Community area. If you know someone that might qualify, please ask them to contact the RC&D office at 800-814-6355 or at cprcd@clinchpowell.net. Even if you do not live in Hancock County, there are still programs available to you for renovation. USDA has a low-interest renovation program that serves all rural areas. Contact the RC&D for more information.
