Funding
Programmatic and operational expenses are earned primarily through grants from federal, state and private sources (in FY 2000 this accounted for 91% of income). Also very important are the unrestricted revenues generated through public support (dues, donations and contributions), service income, interest and reimbursed expenses (approximately 9% in FY 2000). Currently, each county contributes $500 annually in dues.
The RC&D contracts for an annual independent audit and abides by all applicable OMB Circulars. Additionally, individual programs are audited and/or monitored by State officials from time to time.
Donations to the Clinch-Powell RC&D are tax deductible. Contributions from individuals and businesses are welcome. We invite you to support the RC&D.
RC&D Partners
RC&D Partners Building strong foundations in partnerships
Both the RC&D and the Enterprise Community are blessed with tremendous support from a wide variety of partners. A heartfelt thanks to the partners participating in RC&D and EC projects throughout the year, and to the countless terrific volunteers from across the region who are the heart and soul of our work. Many of our partners have websites that can be found under our community services page.
