Clinch-Powell has been working with homeowners to prevent foreclosure since 2002 when we became a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency. We have assisted more than 1400 families facing the loss of their home to mortgage default. We have the skills and training to walk with clients through various options either through their mortgage lender or through state and federal assistance programs. We evaluate each situation to identify options that the family might be eligible for, we provide financial coaching and crisis budget management, assist with navigating each mortgage company's loss mitigation system and provide third party accountability to the lenders.

Currently we are partnering with the Tennessee Housing Development Agency to assist homeowners in applying for the Principle Reduction Recast Program (PRRPLE). Individuals who have experienced a reduction in income due to unemployment, underemployment, divorce or death of a spouse may qualify for up to $40,000 in forgivable assistance with your mortgage.
