CARES Connection Tablets Now Available!
This program has been a huge success and we thank our partner Fahe for making it possible! We received MANY more applications than we can accommodate! If your application was approved you will be contacted by December 4 telling you when and where to pick up your tablet. Please do NOT call us asking for a status update. Thank you!
As we battle COVID-19, social isolation can be a harmful result of the social distancing needed to maintain good health. Many in our community, especially elders and those with disabilities, have spent months separated from family, friends and the normal activities of their daily community life. Our CARES Connection program aims to combat the increasing isolation and insuing loneliness by offering connection through new tablets for applicants who have access to wifi connection at home or a safe community wifi location.
Clinch-Powell Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. is proud to partner with Fahe to offer these tablets (at no cost) to help keep our neighbors connected with children, grandchildren, doctors, neighbors and to encourage connection to their community.
Impacted by the Pandemic since March 1? We have Rescue Funds to help! Click below.
At Clinch-Powell we believe every person deserves to live in a healthy and vital community where families are strong and the environment is clean.
It is our mission to build strong, sustainable communities by investing in people, housing, ecotourism and conservation of natural resources. We accomplish this through partnerships, direct investments, financial education and counseling, and by providing housing solutions, primarily in Tennessee.
